Mingalarbar! Greetings from RV Mahaythi.

After regular operations of RV Mahaythi along Yangon River was being stopped for 6 months by Nargis, it is our pleasure to inform you that we are resuming our operations for Yangon-Twante and Yangon River Sunset Cruises regularly with effective from 09 December 2008. 

RV Mahaythi-01 and the jetty were totally destroyed by Nargis and we have recently rebuilt a boat to replace RV Mahaythi-01. The new boat is a little bit smaller than the former RV Mahaythi-01, but would be a perfect choice for a group of 6 to 8 people for the day return journeys, sunset and dinner cruises. It is 44 feet long  and  12 feet wide. RV Mahaythi-02 is now fully re-furbished after her volunteer service for the relief works of MSF Switzerland for 4 months. She is now ready to serve the exclusive parties, day and night trips to delta region as well. It is also our pleasure to assists with special rates for the NGOs and their donors who would like to visit the villages and the towns that they have donated for Nargis’s victims. Our normal published rates and the Nargis special rates are as below.
