I was born in
Thayetchaung Village - a small fishing village located near Ngapudaw Township in Ayeyarwaddy Delta. I was named "Khaing Myitar Lwin". The typical Myanmar name meaned "Full of love Swifting Around".
Since I was born, I was used for carrying rice, sands and salts around the region. One day, my owner sold me to my new owner

and it was completely changed my life.

First, I was put on a dock yard in Pathein- the capital of Ayeyarwaddy Division and my whole body was repaired and reshaped again using Thingan wood and teak woods. It took about 7 months in Pathein and then I was sailed down to the trade capital Yangon after my body was shaped drafty.
It took another two months to furnish and decor me in Yangon. Then, finally my new owner choose a beautiful name for me. Now I am called
"Mahaythi" - the Queen.
