05 November 2012: Pyay (Lunch/Dinner)
Embark on the RV Mahaythi at your convenience at Pyay Jetty. Visit the 5th-8th century archaeological site of Thiri-ya-kittiya (Sri Ksetra), former centre of the Pyu civilization with a fascinating museum of early Buddhist artifacts and sculpture.
06 November 2012: Pyay-Shwetaung-Myoma-Kyithe (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning, sail down to Shwetaung. Visit Shwetaung Shwe Myat Hman (the Buddha Immage with Glasses) Pagoda. Then, continue to Myoma - a village of the Sri Ksetra Queen to join back the cruise again. Then, continue sailing to Shwetaung. Visit famous Shwenat Taung Pagoda which was believed to be built by the people and the spirits alternatively according to the legends. Join back the ship at Kyithe Village - a big traditional local village with big local style wooden houses located on the eastern bank of Irrawaddy River.
07 November 2012: Kyithe to Myan Aung (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning, continue cruise to Myan Aung. On the way, we will stop at Akauktaung (Custom's Mountain) which was the point that collected taxes for the trading vessels sailing along the River in the past centuries. One can witness the Buddha's images curved by the old day officials on the river bank.
08 November 2012: Myan Aung to Hinthada (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning, continue downstream cruise to Hindatha - a populated town located at a point considered to be the head of the Irrawaddy's delta. It is a port for the rice and tobacco grown in the surrounding agricultural area and is connected by road and rail with Bassein and Yangon.
09 November 2012: Hinthada-Zalun-Danuphyu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning continue sailing along Ayeyarwady Delta till we reach to Zalun - which is famous for its Zalun Pyidawpyan or The Image That Returned to the Native land which is the place for Myanmar Buddhists a visit to Zalun is a holy pilgrimage. It also is a source of national pride, for the principal Buddha Image with the title, The Noble Mahn Aung Myin Buddha, at Zalun is believed to be endowed with extraordinary strength and powers. It is enshrined in a large temple with a golden Stupa rising from the center of the roof. Continue sunrise cruise to Danuphyu.
10 November 2012: Danuphyu - Pantanaw - Shwelayng (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning, visit Danuphyu - which was a famous defense headquarter of Myanmar General Maha Bandoola to stop the British attacks to lower Myanmar and is also the place the general was killed in 1825 during the battles. If the time and local transport is available, we will be visiting the Danuphyu Fort. Continue sailing to Pantanaw - which a famous place for its various types and designs of mats.
11 November 2012: Shwelaung - Sabaeyoo - Sakamyar (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast on board before taking half day excursion trip to Sabaeyoo Village by small boat. This trip is a really interesting trip by sailing up a small stream for about 45 minutes till to it ending point where the multi-billion local fishing businesses based. Then, take the ox-cart back for the return journey to Sabaeyoo Village to witness the villagers' lives and the local black-smith workshop. Arrive back to the main boat around noon and continue sailing to Wakema, another trading city of Delta Region filled with dock yards, rice mills and vermicelli factories. Then, continue cruise to Sakamyar Village to moor the night. Arrive Sakamyar around 17:30 PM. Evening take a walk around the village's road. Overnight on board.
12 November 2012: Sakamyar - Myaungmya - Pathein (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast on board while continue navigating to Pulu village, famous for its ancient monastery and continue to Myaung Mya. Enjoy the great scenery of the river side and in touch culture of the villages. Around 10:30 AM, arrive to Myaung Mya which is another major trading town, also well known for the nearby group of ancient stupas (Bagan style) and the Mya Sein Yaung monastery, where the brother of the late Tharmanya Sayadaw (chief monk) is living. At noon depart from Myaung Mya and continue to Pathein - the capital of Ayeyarwaddy Division. Arrive Pathein around 17:30 PM. Visit night market in Pathein and overnight on board.
13 November 2012: Pathein to Yangon or Ngwe Saung Beach (Breakfast/Lunch)
Breakfast on board and disembark to visit famous Umbrella making home cottage before transfer to Ngwesaung beach.
