In order to accomplish our commitment to continuous improvement of our facilities and services in serving our valued clients, R.V.Mahaythi 2 is now under-construction and will be ready to operate starting from comming October 2007. She is almost totally constructed with Golden Teak and we have added many unique concepts that are missed in former RV Mahaythi destroyed by Cyclone Nargis which makes her standing out from the other barges on the river. Upper Deck include dining lounge area for 70-90 passengers day trips and dinner cruises that is inspired by turn of the century traditional architecture.
6 bed rooms on the lower deck and 2 rooms on the main deck can accommodate up to 16 passengers for overnight trips. All the rooms are attached with air-cons, toilet and showers. Fortunately, she was survive during Cyclone Nargis with little causality. We had donated her to MSF-Switzerland to use for their relief works from 22 May'08 to 01 October'08. Upon on the completion her renovation, she is now serving not only the day trips to twante, sunset and dinner cruises along Yangon River but also operating between Yangon and capital of Ayarwaddy Delta - Pathein (Ngwe Saung Beach) and Meinmahla Kyun(Island) wild life Sanctuary as well as other Delta destinations on demand. More over, she will be operating Upper 78 Days Myanmar Circuit Cruise on 01 September 2010.
